Ana Čigon (1982) is an artist from Slovenia that mainly works in video, film, animation and performance. She received a BA in Painting and Master Degree in Video at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design. She also received an MA in Interface Cultures at the University of Art and Design Linz (Kunstuniversität Linz) in Austria. Her documentary films mostly deal with feminist and social issues. Beside the production of documentary films she is also a video artist for theater and an active contemporary visual artist. She presents her works in solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and internationally and received awards and nominations for her video works and films.
